BairBalliet is a joint design venture invested in architectural research in the form of both speculative and built projects. As designers we reference the current world around us, lean on a long history of precedents, and imagine what lies ahead in the form of two & three dimensional architectural projects.

WareWear is an object. It has made cameos as a vessel that holds things, a midrise that houses things and now as part of a larger unknown whole. WareWear is perched on stubby legs, standing unsteady while supporting a potbelly. The headless torso teeters on the ground indicating its upright orientation within a world that abides by a cartesian grid. Within the exhibition WareWear’s anthropomorphism may vanish. Or it may shuffle like the Potato Head game, swapping parts, offering unforeseen qualities and relationships between its inherent material and formal traits. Made of many parts though camouflaged behind its technicolor fur, Ware suggests that the legibility of many can be reduced to one with the right outfit.
